Drink enough water

- What happens if we don’t drink enough water?
• Answer: The first signal is that we are thirsty (occurs at 1% loss).
• We may become depressed or irritable. It becomes difficult to think clearly.
• Water deficiency leads to dehydration. We may experience a dry mouth, lethargy, mental confusion, reduced skin elasticity, sunken eyes, fever, scanty dark urine, and constipation.
• At 20% water loss death may soon occur.

It’s easy to be slightly water deficient yet not know it. You may just feel a little more tired or irritable than usual. Drink some water and see if it helps.
